Preschool Halloween Parade

Allie's preschool had a Halloween parade this morning~everyone looked so cute! Allie was of course Tinkerbell (her very favorite Disney character). After the parade we went back to the classroom to take some pictures. This afternoon they are having a Halloween party at school complete with lunch, games and decorating cookies. Allie was so excited to dress up today for the parade.

Allie had so much fun at her preschool's Trike-A-Thon! Her favorite part was getting her face painted for the very first time! Each class raced on their bikes and trikes and everyone received a medal afterwards! Hunter enjoyed seeing the firetruck and big rig but refused to climb on board. Allie raised $200 for the Trike-A-Thon and completed 5 laps on the course! Go Allie! This is the preschool's biggest fundraiser of the year, complete with bake sale & Scholastic book sale. Thank you to everyone who donated!

So Cute!

The girls team decided to head to the mall today and have their ears pierced! Allie had been talking about it for a while now. She did great and only cried for a few minutes afterwards. The baby did great also and hardly even cared, crying for just a few seconds initially. Allie chose 14k gold silver ball earrings like mommy's and Alexis got 14k gold cubic zirconia earrings. We can change them in 6 weeks but will probably keep Alexis' in for a while. Allie already has her eye on some cute tinkerbell earrings! Oh and the sign at Piercing Pagoda that reads "Free Ear Piercing" is SO misleading...do not be fooled. The piercing may be 'free' but you must purchase the earrings which are NOT cheap!

Baby Alexis Update

Alexis Grace is growing that is for sure! She had her 4 month dr apt recently and weighed in at 16 lbs 10 oz. and is in the 93% and she is 25 1/2 in tall (80%) WOW! She just got over a bad cold and cough that she picked up from big sister (thanks preschool!) and now she has her first ear infection. Poor baby! She is on an antibiotic and hopefully will not have anymore illnesses.

She is by far the sweetest and happiest baby I've had. She wakes up with a smile and even when she was sick and coughing she still managed to smile and play happily. She is very laid back like her big brother and loves to sit in the bumbo and watch Hunter and Allie play. She loves her saucer and her tummy time mat. We are going to start baby food next week. I am almost sure she will love it!

We went to the Pumpkin Patch last weekend and had a lot of fun! Gigi & Poppy joined us this year, they had never been there before which is hard to believe considering they've lived here for 20+ years! The day we chose to go was Gigi's birthday also. It was a very cold and windy day but we still had fun picking pumpkings, riding tractor's, ponies and barrel trains (see picture above of Allie). We watched pig races & saw bunnies, chickens, cows & roosters on the farm. Hunter loved jumping in the moon bounce!
